By utilising cutting edge, 3- and 5-axis CNC mills, Attewell’s technicians are able to produce machined parts of unrivalled quality.
Supporting the aerospace industry
As a trusted provider of detailed parts for the aerospace industry, our skilled technicians create parts to support the majority of commercial and military aircraft platforms.
Types of detailed parts
Detailed parts can be made from a range of materials depending on their usage. From metallic materials such as titanium, stainless steel, aluminium and beryllium copper, to non-metallics such as carbon fibre, fibreglass, phenolic, polyimide and nylon, detailed parts include a range of precisely machined components such as pins, washers, spacers, flanges and brackets.
Cutting edge technologies
Depending on the complexity and volume of parts needed, we utilise precise, industry-approved techniques including CNC machining, turning and punch press and water jet to perfectly create machined, routed and punched parts from metallic and composite materials.
CNC - computer numeric control - machining is a subtractive manufacturing process. This means that it takes a stock piece and, via computerised controls, removes precise elements to create a customised piece. CNC machining allows for outstanding levels of precision and can be utilised on a range of materials including wood, glass, composites and, of course, metal.
Water jet also offers outstanding precision for small and large scale productions. As a cold cutting process which relies on erosion, it offers a range of benefits, including limited or zero hazardous emissions, no heat affected zone (HAZ).
Precision crafted to meet your needs
The aerospace industry demands high-performance parts that are precisely engineered to an unrivalled standard. At Attewell, we pride ourselves in fulfilling that demand, crafting detailed parts to meet your exact needs while upholding stringent industry standards.
